Oh, I didn't make any of those sonic screwdrivers. Those were all commissioned work from other artists. The lightsabers I build are prefabricated parts that I choose and then modify. I miss that wobbly little glass table, too.

@@Greatwazoo42 Have watched your vids for years haha. Do you have any of the new Rubbertoe or LSP sonics on order? I was getting the 14th but had to cancel, but I am getting the cream 10th as it’s a huge improvement over the grey 10th.

Thank you! The first one I picked up (which is my son's design work), using the Vire names for the parts, is made using a Crown Emitter, Corvus Accent Ring - Type_2.1, Guardian Switch, Pilot Grip, and an Interceptor Pommel.

I bought my first two metal hilts from Parks. Jim pretty much started me on this journey.

I'm mostly there with you on that front - I only have a couple pixel sabers out of all the hilts in the house. All the rest are base lit. The pixel ones are fun to play with but the baselit are my fightin' hilts.

I never actually stopped collecting sonic screwdrivers but haven't bought any new ones in a long time. I'm really enjoying making these custom lightsabers so it felt right to make videos and share.

I suspect that it's a cut off end of a Saber Forge Eco pommel.

Sorry, I realized that I didn't give a full answer - the cut off piece inside the shroud is held in place by a clear blade end cover cap pushed up against the inside which also presses against the inner walls. The graphite color is from a piece of open cell foam insulation I put inside the clear cap.

Mine is the only one ever made, as far as I'm aware. You're welcome to share the video with any artist who has the skills and tools to make one for you. The person who made this one for me left the business years ago.

I’m guessing you don’t have hobbies or understand the enjoyment of creating. Did somebody take your toys away from you when you were a little boy and told you cannot play with them. I wasn't aware of any fan hate towards this particular model, but then there always seems to be a contingent of folks that hate in any and every aspect of any and all...well, everything. It's such a constant it becomes easy to ignore.

Mine arrives on the 20th, I'll post a vid on it and show you mine.

It's fairly durable but dueling with it or dropping it will possibly lead to scratches chips.

There's still some miss information moving around how "Brittle" the Chrome is on these sabers, it's proving more difficult to find the right information on all of this. A lot of information is Years old and very vague, It's so good to get clear information these days. Thank you, cleared things up perfectly

Your welcome do you ever get that rush when a project is almost complete? like a feeling of accomplishment knowing this is a personal project and it turned out better than planned I know I do I just recently made a replica of the handlink from quantum leap with help from a very good friend

I had a jeweler friend of mine make it to the exact size needed. I attached it with 2 part steel apoxy.

The way I did this one is I had the digital watch with me to shop for pocket watches the right size, then supplied measurements and images to a friend whole sculpted and cast the Seal. After that it was just gut the pocket watch and install/attach everything. With 3d printing now it may be easier to make a Seal.
